The interesting study I found is on Introduction to the Criminal Justice System, and Race, Crime and Justice. The Professor that study this topic and who I will be studying undering will be Lisa Morris. The Crime because of race has blown up in people faces the past couple years and I can’t wait to study and see how she goes about the topic. Growing up in a dominate area and being darker skinned( African American) I can relate to the topic on a personal level, but between most African Americans I Am not fully pro-black; I’m pro-everybody I don’t see color, I see a human being.
If you had to devote a long time to studying something in this field, what would it be? :
  1. How to improve better media outlets not to see half of the story but the full thing and not just African American police brutality.
  2. Cops that are suspect or who have abused their rights as a officer to single out a race what would be their punishments.
  3. Getting young kids off the street.
  4. Community programs and events for the neighborhood

    I like how you added the specific topic you want to study with the professor and how it relates to you in some way. Maybe you can see if she has anything published on this topic that you can read about so when you talk to her you show her your full interest in this topic. overall really good job

    I like the topic that you chose, as an African-American, I think this topic is a very important issue in our community. It good that you point out that the topic isn't just interesting, but that it relates to you in real life. I would suggest that you could change the font color on your post, because as a reader it is a bit challenging to see what you typed because of the use of dark colors in the background and post. You did a great job at pointing out what you would like to study in this field of research.

    your topic is one that is very crucial in todays age. media is a major outlet and very important in conveying current issues in our world. your topic is one i really like. i think you have a lot of resources to work with and narrowing down to a specific question you want answered. i like the questions you do have listed, they give you direction. this topic is blowing up and gaining a lot of attention, new information is always coming out and you'll be able to analyze the change in crime rates as new policies are being implemented. i encourage you check what your professor has published, and keep an eye out on new publications over a longer period of time.
